This apartment is a dream. Excellent quality, and amenities. It really feels like a hotel. all the front desk staff are great and make an effort to get to know you. The application process was a breeze. Ivan was extremely helpful and was able to show the place with very short notice and made sure I had everything I needed after move in. All around excellent experience.

I worked with Pavla, Vlad and Ivan during my search (which only took a span of about 4 days to schedule a visit, view the apartments, and sign my lease) and I could not have had a better experience! Everything went so smooth from start to finish, and they were extremely accessible throughout the whole process. I had a really pleasant experience with these guys. They triaged my needs before showing me anything, then were very knowledgable when it came to which buildings/management companies could satisfy them. They only showed me the places I wanted to see, and did not try to pressure me into seeing anything else. I''ve had a very positive experience with Ivan and Pavla. Their approach is more personalized than that of other broker''s I''ve worked with before, and I felt that I was treated as a human being. Pavla was eager to share useful info about the neighborhoods we were visiting - like the location of shops, parks etc, the communication was very good - they quickly responded to my text messages and questions, and Ivan also was very pro-active in negotiating certain lease conditions with the building to accommodate my needs. Although a lot of the buildings they show you can see by yourself, without an external broker, it takes time to find such buildings online, to search for units within your price range and then to schedule individual appointments. I felt that this company''s service has an added value as they presented me with a range of options matching my requirements in different buildings and we were able to see a few of them in one day.

I worked with Pavla last year and she helped my roommate and I find a great apartment for a great price. She was to able set up the appointment quick and communicated with us well. Long Island City-based realtor Ivan Palov has recently left a citywide brokerage firm to form his own real estate company, named after the neighborhood that he calls home.

The new firm, Luxury Apartments LIC, was formed in mid-January, and focuses on residential sales, rentals, and property management within Long Island City.

Palov says that he has been a passionate fan of the neighborhood ever since he moved to the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City in 2010 and began selling real estate.

His passion continues to grow as the neighborhood flourishes with new restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. He said one of Long Island City’s big draws is its waterfront parks, which expanded last year with the opening of Phase 2 of Hunters Point South Park.

“I knew one day that people would see that there’s more to Long Island City than the close commute to Manhattan,” Palov said. “So, I formed a real estate company that specializes in the neighborhood that I know best.”

Palov, the company’s principal broker and lead property manager, is joined at his new company by real estate agents Pavla Petrova and Vlad Vladimirov.

He said that through his team’s collective experience, they have established relationships with a wide range of property owners in Long Island City, from those looking to sell private houses, to the owners of high-rise rental and condominium units.

He credits these existing relationships with having helped his team negotiate favorable prices for hundreds of past clients, the majority of whom were in the market for rentals.

“We have helped 1,100 different customers find their dream homes in the area, which is one of the many reasons why we proudly consider ourselves experts in Long Island City real estate,” he stated.

Palov said that his team also prides itself on being able to help customers find the most suitable properties, without them having to review all the available inventory.

“There is a lot of inventory, but we make it a priority to know each and every unit’s features, limitations, and offered amenities to be sure that we show a place that fits any of our client’s needs,” he said.

He noted that his ability to professionally and efficiently handle each step of a real estate transaction has helped him receive more than 50 glowing reviews on Yelp, and many positive remarks from former clients on Zillow.

Ivan Palov is a graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in International Business. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Metropolitan College of New York, and holds a New York University diploma in Residential Property Management.
